Yea, this month will make it a year since Footy Flash first came online!

So how's the new game? Well, I mentioned that I was working on another one... I'm not sure that it's fun, but I may release it after some tweaks. As for site changes, they're still coming. :)

RSS Feed - May 6, 2007

Keep up to date with the 20 most recently added flash games by subscribing to the Footy Flash RSS feed. In Firefox, click on the orange feed button located in the address bar and add a live bookmark. Internet Explorer 7 has a feed button, as well, which also allows you to subscribe.

Starting from Scratch - May 3, 2007

I've been recoding the site from scratch with a major emphasis on the back-end. This will make it easier to add new games to the database. The redo is not going to stop at better administration, though. There are a lot of other features that I would like to implement and, hopefully, these will help the site grow. If not, at least I will have a nice script on my hands, which is a definite plus.

On and off in the next couple of weeks, I'll be working on the members-only parts of the site. These include statistics, comments, voting and the like. Memberships should start mid week. Sure, none of the membership stuff works right now, but at least you'll have an early member number beside your username. And if anybody joins, I'm more likely to get it done.

Lastly, I've been working on the graphics for my new game. Two weeks of touching and retouching has really paid off. I'll do a post illustrating the whole process when I relaunch the blog. The blog will have other stuff, too, like flash games that just don't fit into the Footy Flash format.

I hope you like the new site. By the way, it looks better in Firefox.
